In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and carve your own soft linoleum blocks, using simple tools and endless inspiration. After inking your blocks, you’ll create a stack of original prints on paper, plus take home your hand-carved stamps to keep printing on your own. As a special keepsake, every guest will leave with a collaborative group print featuring a design from each participant—a one-of-a-kind piece celebrating the creative experience you shared.
Cyanotype printing is an early photographic process known for its striking indigo blue tones. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create luminous prints using pressed botanicals and photo-negative transparencies, developed with the power of UV light. Once your collection of prints is complete, we’ll transform them into elegant Japanese-style bamboo lanterns. Each guest will leave with several unique cyanotype prints and their own handcrafted lantern.
